Father’s Day is around the corner and you might be asking,” What can I get dad for Father’s Day?”. Well, if he hasn’t suggested what he wants, then I can give you 3 suggestions other than underwear, pajamas and socks… Wait?! Am I confusing myself with Christmas gifts?!?!.

Well… here are those 3 suggestions…

Skills

Get your dad a Subscription to Audible. He may be hard of hearing, but I bet he’ll learn a thing or two with some Awesome Audiobooks.

Maybe sign him up for a class that he’s been wanting or considering like welding, photography, art, plumbing, fruit basket making, I don’t know… Something that builds his “Know How.”

Lots of men are jacks of all trades, but they ought to become very good at one… help him!

If he’s great with carpentry or wanting to be a bad ass at that, here is a Great Offer.

Tools

Tools!?! But my dad has all the tools in the world. No dad can have enough tools. He needs tools for his trade… he needs tools to help around the house and… he needs tools to keep him out of your hair.

A man may easily get rid of clothes that don’t fit him or stuff he barely uses, but a tool is forever.

Decades later, when you see he still has the drill you got for him on Father’s Day, you know he appreciated you 😉

You say, “I have an app for that,” but your Daddy says, “I have a tool for that.”

eBay always has the best prices for tools but Amazon has the best return policy.

Lots of Love

Just be there for your dad. Show them genuine appreciation. I’d be perfectly fine with just hanging with my kids, sharing a bowl of popcorn, watching a movie, WITHOUT yelling or screaming.

Hugs… Dads love hugs!

You remember in grade school when our teachers would make us craft cards for our dad’s. That’ll work too. You don’t have to spend a dime.

For me, I do what I do so that my kids and family can get the best life they can. I’m always working on that and will never stop. You are what keeps us going.

For those of us whom no longer have our fathers here today with us, like me, take some time to say hi to him in heaven and let’m know how you’re doing… even if he knows exactly what you’ve been up to 🙂

Summary

Your father could not ask for anything more. He has helped to bring you into this world. You are the greatest gift.

My happiest moment in life was when I saw my son for the first time, holding him, in awe and wondering how in the world was I able to help create this beautiful thing.

Have a Wonderful Happy Father’s Day!
