How to Make Money Online Like a Ninja

In this article, I will teach you how to make money online like a ninja… Are you ok with that?… Let’s go!…

Were you a part of “The Great Resignation?” I’m not gonna take any sides here because I do care about my safety but some of the forceful tactics of companies were questionable.

I don’t blame anyone for quitting their job. And you know what, it probably could have been the best thing that ever happened to them, because now they are free to get their feet wet and begin to discover ways of making money online.

That topic… “Make Money Online” appears scammy, but it’s really not. It has its place in the world of opportunity. A lot of advertisements you see on the web are probably created by an Ad Agency that guess what… started with an idea of “Make Money Online.” You see these “Make Money Online” skills become applicable everywhere.

Let me give you a peak into one of the millions of ways you can make money online with my NextDoor Hero and Damsel strategies. Super Simple!

Get Started

You will need 2 things to get started: a NextDoor account and an Amazon Affiliate account.

You can get a NextDoor account at nextdoor.com.

What is NextDoor? It’s a neighborhood board that connects people in your neighborhood and other neighborhoods nearby.

It’s basically an online version of your community. People post questions, ideas, complaints, recommendations, news, etc.

Do you have an inkling at what we are gonna do here?

Next, we need to signup for an Amazon Affiliate account.

After you create these two accounts, you are gonna need to know how to get a product affiliate link.

Get Your Link

So, once you are logged into Amazon, you will see a SiteStripe at the very top. This is where you go to get all of your product affiliate links.

You basically search for a product, which will return multiple results.

Click on the exact product you want so that you are able to view the details.

Go to your SiteStripe and click on Text and select Short Link. This is the link you will be using to promote the product.

Below is an example of the SiteStripe and link.

So now you know how to get a product affiliate link, let’s get started with the 2 strategies.

Strategy 1: Be The Hero

In this first strategy, you look for neighbors asking questions? The goal here is to be the Hero and answer their question with a product. Here is an example.

So if you know what is wrong here, you could help them.

In this example, they wouldn’t need to replace the whole window, they would just need to fix the mullion.

So you’d go to Amazon and get your link. Then you’d Add a Comment to respond and include your link.

You don’t have to disguise the link by using a link shortener. We are just trying to help people here, not trick them.

Below is my response. (if you click on the image below, you’ll see the product)

By providing them with an option that would definitely save them some money, you have helped them and successfully placed one of your Amazon Affiliate links on the platform.

Now this is where the cool stuff happens. If they click that link, their session now becomes tied to you. So they don’t have to buy the product that the link represents. If they start adding other things to their cart, you will get credit for that. However, the cookie lasts for 24 hours.

What’s also cool is that as long as this post stays up on the platform, it will continue to help others, who have this same issue, and continue to possibly drive more clicks.

So… OVER TIME, you will have many of these links and the results become EXPONENTIAL.

In this photo here, I was not being active in my posting, but with just a few links, I got nearly 40 completed purchases. There were still 10 more purchases that had not been completed.

Become consistent in helping people and you will see that line blast off into space.

Create a Post

By clicking the green + Post button, it will present the pop up where you can create your post.

You can adjust your audience so that it’s posted across all of NextDoor (Anyone), nearby neighborhoods, or your neighborhood.

And when you are done, just click on Post and it will be live for everyone to see.

Strategy 2: Be The Damsel

In this last strategy, we need to create a post to try and engage neighbors in a conversation.

We are gonna let others help us (save us… the damsel) and in order for them to do that, they need to know the full context. They will, most likely, click the link to see exactly what I’m talking about. (if you click on the image below, you’ll see the product)

Your neighbors will provide their opinions and experiences and don’t be surprised if they troll you.

As they continue to reply and react to the post, it keeps the post “recent”, which means more neighbors are likely going to see it when they go onto NextDoor.

And when they see it, they might click on your link and possibly buy something.
